Roselaarplein

Location: Roosendaal

Client: E.CP, BVR groep

Phase: Study

Transforming an area with high vacancy rates into a lively and future-proof hub—that is what we aim to realise at the Roselaarplein square in Roosendaal.

This plan addresses a former V&D department store, located in the heart of Roosendaal. Since the bankruptcy of the department store chain, this complex has been largely vacant. The nearby shopping strip on Dr. Braberstraat has also been struggling with structural vacancy issues. EUP design’s plan aims to breathe new life into the area.

The core of our plan consists of demolishing the shops on Dr. Braberstraat. In their place, new residential buildings will be constructed, consisting of nine studios and fifty-four apartments.
