The Heemraadsplein in the Delfshaven district in Rotterdam is not currently being used intensively. Upgrading the function of the square is part of the revitalization of the Nieuwe Binnenweg, located next to the square. In the form of an initial plan for a catering facility on the square, we aim to give the neighbourhood and the square a positive impulse.

The plan includes a building in the form of a glass greenhouse, in which a number of functions can be combined. Café, restaurant and greenhouse could be combined in the building. Around the building, there is a lot of space for a leafy terrace. A number of split levels floors have been installed in the building so that the various functions are subtly connected to each other.
